Doylestown, PA – Author, Speaker, Motivator and Entrepreneur, Esther Hughes was recently appointed Owner and CEO of Sisters U, an organization founded in February 2011 by Legal Adminsitrator, Karen Chellew.
Sisters U is a membership organization for women that was established in February 2011 by Karen Chellew and quickly grew into a popular place for women to connect and grow. This popularity and growth required expansion and shifting. So in December 2011, Karen handed the Sisters U baton on to entrepreneur and women's mentor, Esther Hughes.
Sisters U provides a place where all women can come together to regroup, refocus and begin a journey of learning to love themselves, identify those things, people, and activities which generate energy inside them, and the opportunity to connect with people, who by their very nature, stimulate energy and inspiration to do better.
The organization is known for their encouraging and uplifting atmosphere and welcoming all women from varying life roles. Their web site reminds businesswomen to: "Leave your 90-second pitches behind--we meet to build relationships one woman and one story at a time. Sisters U is NOT a business networking organization; however, we do support and celebrate the entrepreneurial, small business owners and professional women in our group by offering membership levels that highlight their strengths. We welcome all women to shed their varying life roles and come to enjoy the sisterhood, build friendships and be themselves. Here it's not what you do that counts. It's not who you know that's important. It's BEING WHO YOU ARE!”
Under Esther Hughes’ leadership, Sisters U will continue to welcome new members by offering three different levels of membership: Personal membership is for individuals seeking to be a part of a group committed to personal growth and charitable impact. The Business Affiliate level welcomes local businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations to partner with Sisters U by offering products and services at a discount for the members. Non-profit members will receive the benefit of having volunteer groups consisting of Sisters U members and having fundraisers for the non-profit members. The Educator membership level is for those women who possess expertise and experience in line with the personal growth, wellness and charitable mindset of the women associated with Sisters U.
“We thrive on supporting, encouraging, laughing and growing together. What makes Sisters U unique is that we are not competing or networking--we are instead, listening and connecting to form a circle of unity and friendship.” Owner and CEO, Esther Hughes
