There are various ways to get involved with Sisters U. Below are just a few:

Events--we hold various events throughout Bucks County, PA. Several of our events are open to all women; however, we do have MEMBERS ONLY events and members receive discounted rates and FREE functions apply to Sisters U members. The events include:

Monthly Meetings--We are currently meeting at various locations throughout the Central Bucks region of Pennsylvania. For our next scheduled meeting visit our Events page. Members attend meetings for FREE. Pre-registered guests pay $15 for meeting attendance ($20 at the door).

MEMBERS ONLY Book Club--We meet bi-monthly and have lively discussions usually from chosen non-fiction books. We meet in the Doylestown area. Our themes include self-growth, nutrition, organization, philosophical, spiritual and more.

Flourishing on Fridays--Beginning in March 2012, we will be starting our Flourishing on Fridays seminar series featuring Sisters U Educators. Flourishing on Fridays is a place for women to experience educational and interactive positive, uplifting and informative seminars that interest them in an informal and welcoming Lunch & Learn atmosphere. Flourishing on Fridays attendance is available to members at a discounted cost and ALL women are invited to attend.
Meet & Mingle--Beginning in April 2012 we will be hosting Meet & Mingle events in various locations throughout Bucks County where women interested in knowing more about us will be invited to meet the leadership and members of Sisters U and interact socially. More fun, more learning and more energy!

Margaritas & Movies--just another fun way to get to know other women and enjoy a fun night out. Members and Friends of Sisters U are invited to participate.

Communication Empowerment for Women--Communication Empowerment series is for women to have a safe, supportive and encouraging place to practice their public speaking skills. Every month, participants will bring a prepared speech to receive helpful tips for improvement from other participants, speakers and leaders.

Visit our calender of events for what's coming up next.

Friend of Sisters U--this would be someone who is not a member but wants to participate with Sisters U at some level. We welcome businesses, associations and organizations to get to know more about us and interact for the positive benefit of all. (Non-members will not be able to receive discounts for workshops, seminars and other Sisters U Events. Non-members are also not able to participate at events that are for Members only.) Find out more about membership.

Advertiser of Products, Services and Events--Members have the opportunity to share with our contacts about their products, services and events at a discounted cost. Non-members are invited to pay advertising prices to share about their events. We do not advertise or share through social media any non-member events or services. Receive our Advertising Rates and Opportunities.

Social Media Guidelines--We can be found on Facebook, Twitter and Linked In. These outlets are for information guided by leaders and members of Sisters U; they are NOT a place to post your products, services or events. We encourage uplifting and positive quotes and information. Please refrain from self-promotion of any kind. If we feel that our social media outlets are being abused by members or friends of Sisters U, we will delete those posts.

Non-profit involvement
--Because much of our mission and focus is charitably oriented, we invite local charities to join us as Non-Profit members to receive the largest opportunities of gaining visibility with the members while attaining Sisters U volunteer groups, Sisters U Teams, Fundraisers to benefit our member non-profits and funds that will be raised at various Sisters U events that benefit our member charities.

Speaker for Sisters U--we have many interested speakers who would like to share with Sisters U at our meetings or other functions.

Criteria to Speak at Sisters U:

"Member Circle" at each meeting we feature members in a fun and interactive way that allows us to get to know each other. If you'd like to participate in the Member circle, please contact us.

"Featured Speakers/Presenters" are Organizational Affiliate, Non-profit or Educator members who have the opportunity to share with us at periodic meetings. In order to have access to share or present at Sisters U meetings and events, you must be a member either as an Organizational Affiliate, Non-profit or Educator level. Learn more about membership.

Guest Speakers will be invited based on topics, expertise and interest of the Sisters U members. We invite leaders from various backgrounds to inspire and motivate us to live to our greatest potential. If you are invited to speak at Sisters U meetings or other functions, we ask that you bring your personal story--how you came to be where you are today. We also ask that you make it interactive--involving the attendees and not talking at them.
